SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Ember and Leaf. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

SHIPMENT PROCESSING TIME

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

 

SHIPPING RATES & DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Ember & Leaf engaged 3rd party merchant for distribution of some products via drop-shipping. As such, delivery estimated lead time is stated individually on the product catalog. For domestic shipping within Singapore, delivery lead time is 1-3 business days. For products from 3rd party merchants, delivery lead time can be from 5-15 business days, depending on the geographical location of our merchants.

 


SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION & ORDER TRACKING

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

 

CUSTOMS, DUTIES and TAXES

Ember & Leaf is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order(if any). All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY

We currently do not ship outside of Singapore.

REFUND POLICY

When you place your order with Ember & Leaf, you agree to the following terms:

 

OUR PROMISE OF QUALITY

We understand that purchasing plants online limits your ability to see the product before checkout (unlike shopping at any garden nurseries and shops). We guarantee that any plant leaving our nursery is of the finest quality and horticulturally viable. If you are not satisfied within the first 3 days after receiving your order, please call or email us so that we can help correct the situation. We will thoroughly review your concerns and may ask for pictures to be emailed. We may provide you with a one-time replacement only if certain criteria are fulfilled. Replacement plant shipping cost is at the customer’s expense.

Most plants are subject to transplant shock and will just need time to recover. As with all living plants, each requires care and proper nutrients to acclimate to their new environments. Time and your patience are also essential needs for plants to successfully transition to their new surroundings. Neglect or bad watering practices resulting in any damages or death of the plant are not included with this guarantee. The customer is responsible for choosing a plant suitable for the climate/ premise in which it will be grown. It is also the customer's responsibilities to understand each individual plant species' growing habits through independent channels/websites.

The customer is also responsible for requesting any delayed shipping date/time if they do not want to receive at time of purchase for any reasons. Standard procedure is to ship your order as quickly as possible and will ship within the specified time frame UNLESS noted by the customer. Please contact us to make arrangements to delay your order if required.

 

DAMAGE DURING SHIPMENT

Ember & Leaf uses the highest quality packaging materials available to ensure your plant and/or non plant products arrives safe. It is extremely rare that packages are broken or damaged in transit. If your order is damaged during shipping, we need to be contacted within 24hours of you receiving the damaged package, along with visual evidences to support the claims. We will do our best to correct the issue.

 

 

CANCELLING AN ORDER

Any order placed with Ember & Leaf may be cancelled prior to shipping from our nursery. Once the plant and/or non plant product is shipped, all sales are final; there are no refunds.

 

 

RETURNS

Since plants are perishable, we do not accept returns under any condition. All sales are final.

 

UNEXPECTED OCCURENCES

Our guarantee policy does not cover plants shipped out of recommended zones, Mother Nature’s unpredictability, damage from animals, human error, extreme weather damage, over-watering, drought, insects, poor soil conditions and/or your gardening abilities. Plants are living organisms that can die from many different causes beyond our control. We do our best to make sure you are getting a quality and viable product.

 

 

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Except as set forth above, Ember & Leaf does not make any representations or warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of fitness or merchantability, regarding any product purchased from Ember & Leaf and Ember & Leaf specifically disclaims any and all such warranties. The remedies set forth above constitute the sole and exclusive remedies available to you. Ember & Leaf shall not, in any event, be liable for damages in an amount greater than the original purchase price of any plant. The terms of our guarantee may change at Ember & Leaf discretion and Ember & Leaf holds the right to deny any claims that do not meet the specifications set above.
